24.03.2010 Sievo Taps Top Procurement Expert as new CEO
Fabrice Saporito has been appointed as Sievo's new CEO. Saporito, an influential international management consultant and procurement expert, starts at the position on May 1st.

Saporito was previously Senior Principal at the Boston Consulting Group and brings over a decade of experience in strategy, operations, procurement and performance management that he has gained across a number of industries and regions around the world during his time at Boston Consulting Group and prior to that at Booz & Company. He is co-author of Booz & Company's "Sourcing Reloaded: Targeting Procurement's New Strategic Agenda" and of a number of thought leadership articles published in CPO Magazine, Strategy+Business, Executive Magazine and CEO Middle East among others.

Originally from France, Saporito began his career in Finance with Rockwell Semiconductor Systems to eventually join IBM as solution manager in Paris. He started his consulting career with Booz & Company in the Nordic where he earned a Professional Excellence Award, the firm's highest recognition, for the landmark turnaround of a world's leading consumer company. He eventually moved to the Middle East where he co-led the founding of the regional Operations Practice. Saporito earned his master's degree from French Grande Ecole Ceram ESC Nice (1998) and is a Harvard Business School PMD Graduate (2004).
