Today Sievo is announcing the release of version 4.4 of its Procurement Performance Management Solution. Version 4.4 enhances Sievo’s unique approach to procurement financial performance management and takes spend analysis one step further than traditional solutions. 4.4 is a minor release and much of the focus has been on enhancing some of the key functionality areas and simplifying software deployment as well as configuration efforts. However, this release also includes a greatly revised version of Sievo’s Savings Program Management module.
The revision of the Savings Program Management module is to a large extent a direct answer to the requirements observed and discussed in the marketplace. With Sievo Savings Program Management clients get one tool for managing and controlling all savings projects on global basis. The cornerstones of Savings Program Management are accelerated savings idea generation, ensuring that savings ideas get implemented and verified, and facilitating reliable savings figure reporting.
Matti Sillanpää, VP of Product Management and co-cofounder of Sievo comments the new version of the Savings Program Management module as follows: “In essence the functionality of the Savings Program Management module is quite simple. However implementing and deploying a collaborative platform on a global scale with a diverse user base and often divergent old practices have been a challenge for many organizations. Our key design principles in this revised version have therefore been ease of configuration and adaptability to clients existing processes as well as simple and intuitive user experience. And whilst Savings Program Management possesses the needed flexibility we have not wanted to offer our clients an open ended platform approach, but our Savings Program Management is built around best practice processes enabling quick customer specific deployment and the flexibility to adapt the tool to evolving organizational processes”.
